The DB9009-RX second-generation Advanced IP Audio Decoder is designed to deliver high-quality audio signals over public IP networks and connections that are behind NATs and firewalls. With its powerful DSP processor, it can support HE-AAC versions 1 and 2, MPEG-1 Layer 3 compressed audio streams, and lossless uncompressed PCM streams without compromising on audio quality, even in non-ideal network conditions. The device is suitable for various professional audio applications such as Broadcast, Internet Radio, Studio to Transmitter Link, and VoIP. The DB9009-RX also supports several types of backup sources, automatically switching between them when audio loss is detected and returning to the main source without any user intervention once the audio is restored. Additionally, the device can be configured to select the current audio source using one of the General Purpose Inputs. \n \nFurthermore, an optional fully digital, DSP-based Stereo & RDS Encoder Module is available for an additional charge.
