DEVA SmartGen 3.1 Basic RDS/RBDS Encoder

The SmartGen 3.1 RDS encoder has the ability to transmit basic RDS information as well as additional information such as decoder information, PS and radio text scrolling options, and music/speech flags. It also has a fully digital synthesis of the RDS signal and two types of operating modes - Loop-through & Side-chain. The encoder's USB connectivity makes programming the non-volatile memory easy with a dedicated Windows® interface included on the CD-ROM. The SmartGen Basic RDS/RBDS Encoders Manager allows for saving programming information as a file for easy access, which can be useful for program-specific RDS settings or messages throughout the broadcast day or changing advertising or station promos at random. After programming, the unit can be disconnected and re-installed at the transmitter site.
